Had Ibrahimović's ego not came into play, the Sweden International would have been an Arsenal player 15 years ago. Wenger had attempted to lure Zlatan from Malmo in 2000, and he was even pictured with the Arsenal jersey at the time.

However, when Wenger asked the Swede to play a game as a trialist without making him a serious offer, he replied "Zlatan doesn't do auditions"

From there, Ibrahimović returned to Malmo, before successful playing spells across Europe with teams such as Barcelona, AC Milan and PSG. He now has over 300 career goals to his name, and is considered one of the greatest players of his generation.
