Even though he's scored 44 goals since moving to France in 2013, Edinson Cavani hasn't really seemed to be raved about the same way he was a few years ago. When playing for Napoli in Italy between 2010-2013, he seemed to be loving his football. It comes across that Cavani is a passionate guy, and that he needs to feel wanted in order to thrive. Arsenal could likely offer him that. Cavani should be wonderful foil for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He's hardly a small man himself, but Cavani looks much quicker than his occasional strike partner, and thus perfect for setting the Swede up. That could be a similar scenario when playing alongside Olivier Giroud, who doesn't have the lightning pace to create many of his own chances in front of goal. Giroud appears more adept with his head, or when put clean through on goal by team mates. That's something Cavani would be ideal for, but he would likely cost Arsenal heavily. Laurent Blanc has intimated to the press that PSG would sell to Arsenal for the right price, although there is no indication of what the cost would be. It likely wouldn't be cheap, but Cavani could be the signing that wins Arsenal the Premier League, if they play the striker up front alongside Giroud.
