3. Roberto Soldado
Speaking of better options, Roberto Soldado is one. The long-time Valencia striker has a lot of admirers in a lot of different countries and filled the void left by David Villa at los Che with ease. He's been nothing but a goal machine since moving from Getafe, and he's maintained a ratio of just over a goal every other game at the Mestalla. He's fired Getafe to the UEFA Europa League and, subsequently, Valencia to the UEFA Champions League on a consistent basis; His goals have been pivotal in helping his side qualify from their group this season and setting up a date with Paris Saint-Germain.
What's stopping the deal? Soldado is the best option in Spain, but Arsene Wenger seems set on coaxing Adrian Lopez of Atletico Madrid to the Emirates. Adrian is simply not the answerhe's not an out-and-out forward, he prefers coming off the edge and is basically another Theo Walcottand "Bobby" would serve as a very valuable option going forward.
