1. Arsene Wenger To Join PSG?

By far the biggest news surrounding Arsenal at the moment is yesterday's report that manager Arsene Wenger could be leaving for French outfit Paris St-Germain. Apparently, the mega-rich Qatar-owned outfit are lining up a £30 million offer to being Wenger back to his home country to replace incumbent manager Carlo Ancelotti. The same article speculates that the former Chelsea manager could be heaving the opposite way to replace Wenger at the Emirates. PSG were left disappointed last week when former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola joined Bayern Munich, and they have now turned their attentions to the Gunners boss. PSG made a move for Wenger back in 2011 before appointing Ancelotti, and the Frenchman knows club president Nasser al-Khelaifi from his work for the Al Jazeera television station. In a bid to keep Wenger at the club, Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis suggested Wenger will be offered a contract extension to stay at the Emirates, but the 63-year-old claimed he will make no decisions on his future during the current season.
Likelihood? Arsene Wenger knows he is facing the very real prospect of going 8 whole years without a trophy at Arsenal and the pressure is well and truly on for him to deliver. Having been with the club since 1996, he might fancy himself a new challenge abroad.
