Lukaku spent the entirety of last season on loan at Aston Villa's midlands rival West Brom and impressed, netting 17 times in 35 Premier League appearances. Now, he could be on the way to Villa, either on loan or permanently, if Chelsea are serious about pressing through with their pursuit of Benteke. The involvement of Lukaku in any potential deal would certainly be a sweetener for Villa and an offer they'd struggle to resist, but quite whether it actually comes to fruition is another matter entirely.
