Aston Villa Transfers: Adama Traore Is "Frighteningly Exciting"

Spanish football expert Graham Hunter predicts big things for the winger linked with Villa.

According to reports from the Daily Mail, Barcelona B winger Adama Traore is closing in on a move to Aston Villa. The article states the highly-rated Spaniard has passed his medical with the Midlands club so confirmation of the transer could be imminent. Villa have been busy in the transfer window so far this season, but according to Graham Hunter, author of Barca - The Making of the Greatest Team in the World, Traore could be the most exciting addition yet. Hunter told Sky Sports:

He has the potential to become an exceptional player. He is the kind of player which explain why people buy season tickets and why Sky have invested in the Premier League again. Okay, he's not English, he's from Spain and was born in Barcelona, but he's frighteningly exciting. "He runs at players, got past players and has the ability to do things that should be the provenance of a man of similar stature to Lionel Messi. But no, he's like a well-built middleweight boxer who is gifted and hugely thrilling and will unsettle defences. "If Villa pull this deal off, the Villa fans will be ecstatic with the board and Sherwood. "He is a player who can be something of a remedy over the duration of his contract, should he sign a three-year deal, because not only have Villa fans struggled with relegation but they haven't had enough excitement or the brand of football they want. Adama represents that in 24-carat ways. "He is a beautiful talent and it is very exciting if he goes to Villa Park."
If such a move does happen, it could be a campaign to remember for Villa fans as Tim Sherwood continues his rebuilding project at the club.
