Barcelona Transfers: 5 Players They Should Sign This Summer

4. Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund)

Marco Reus weighs in at number four on this list and he is likely to find himself on the shortlist of managers all across Europe this summer. Borussia Dortmund may have suffered a dip in form since last season, but the winger has gone from strength to strength. Reus has scored 23 goals this season, four more than he managed in 2012/13 campaign. It means he has now found the net 42 times in 88 appearances for Dortmund, equating to almost a goal every other game - an impressive contribution for a wide player. Rumours continue to grow at Barcelona that current wingers Pedro, Alexis Sanchez and Cristian Tello may all be leaving. While the scenario of a triple departure seems unlikely, it reinforces the theory that Barca are looking for reinforcement out wide. Reus would undeniably be a brilliant acquisition, with his pace and cool finishing making him one of the most lethal players in the Bundesliga. With the 24-year-old€™s £30million release clause becoming active at the end of the 2014/15 season, Barca will want to act now and avoid it activating during their transfer ban.
