Cardiff 2-2 Sunderland: Premier League Player Ratings

Jordon Mutch: Our man of the match. Booked for a dive in the box early on then headed over before scoring a deflected opener. Made Campbell chance midway through first half and assisted the striker's goal in the second, beating two or three defenders. A player for bigger clubs to keep tabs on. 7.5/10.

Kim Bo-Kyung: Worked Mannone with a first half strike. Put himself about and worked hard. Booked for kicking the ball away. Subbed. 5.5/10.

Peter Whittingham: Tried to catch Mannone out with near post free kick, but Sunderland stopper just equal to it. Reluctant to pull the trigger in open play and should have when Campbell played him in behind early in the second half. 5.5/10.

Fraizer Campbell: Assisted Mutch's opener and saw a diving header fly wide midway through first half. Doubled the Cardiff lead with unmarked back post finish after Mutch put it on a plate for him. Booked for late foul on Bardsley. Subbed. 7/10.

Subs: Don Cowie: Thrown on for last 20 minutes to replace tiring Noone. Rating N/A.

Aron Gunnarsson: Replaced Kim for final 12 minutes. Rating N/A.

Andreas Cornelius: Came on for just ten minutes. It's revealing that he is always seems to be used a substitute. Only had one defender to beat on the break and couldn't even do that! Were Cardiff sold a pup when they bought the rangy Dane? Rating N/A.
