Celtic: 5 Players Too Good For The SPL

4. Kris Commons

Commons arrived at Celtic in January 2011 from Championship side Derby County for the measly fee of £300,000. On his Celtic debut, a cup match against Aberdeen, he scored within 5 minutes only a day after signing and since he hasn't looked back. He has become one of Celtics main attacking threats, last season he scored 23 league goals and assisted 28, quite impressive when most of his time is spent out on the wing. He played in every game of last seasons Champions League campaign getting on the score sheet twice. Some people might see the Premier League a step to far for Commons, however with his goal getting ability and versatility across the frontline, he could be a shrewd investment for any club that is interested.
