3. Joe Ledley

The Welsh centre midfielder joined the hoops in 2010 from his boyhood team Cardiff City. There was much speculation around the move as Ledley was linked with some Premier League clubs and also Italian club Roma however he chose Celtic as he saw it as a better chance for first team football. Joe Ledley is the complete midfield player with great fitness levels meaning he is able to help his team out in attack and defence. He is also able to score goals from midfield, grabbing 10 goals in all competitions last season including one against HJK Helsinki in the Champions League qualifiers. He even captained the team at times last season when Scott Brown was out injured in February and March. Joe Ledley certainly has the attributes that would allow him to function in a Premier League midfield.
