Celtic Transfers: 10 Signings To Rebuild The Champions

7. John Guidetti - LOAN

Current Club: Man City Sooner rather than later you have to suspect that most of the players currently residing in the development teams at Man City will have to give up on their dream of playing for the Champions and move on to lower clubs in the pursuit of first team football. Jack Rodwell has already recently announced that any young English players considering joining City should reconsidering and take another road, and it's hard to argue with the fact. After all, this is the same club that had Daniel Sturridge on their books not so long ago, and allowed him to leave because of the lack of scope to put him in the first team. One of the more talented youngsters on City's books currently is Swedish striker John Guidetti who scored 20 goals in 23 appearances for Feyenoord a couple of years ago. He was badly under-used by Stoke last season, but the tall powerful striker could make it big if given another opportunity to shine. Right now Celtic need a number 9, and the striker could have a big impact alongside Anthony Stokes.
