Celtic Transfers: 10 Signings To Rebuild The Champions
6. Mohamed Salah - LOAN
Current Club: Chelsea Another talented player currently sidelined by their club's policy of buying and ignoring younger stars is Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian winger who is likely to see his first team opportunities at Stamford Bridge limited this year. The £13m winger could do with some development time in a first team away from Chelsea, and with Celtic looking for more attacking options - or at least, they should be - he might be the perfect solution for a season. Alternatively, in the same vein, there has been some suggestion that Dutch midfielder and fellow Chelsea back-up Marco Van Ginkel wants to move on after seeing his first team chances limited. With the label of the new Frank Lampard, he could well be a very big player in Scotland, and could use the opportunity of playing for Celtic as a means to either force his way into Chelsea's team, or out of it entirely. Either player would be a major coup.
