Champions League: 4 Tasty Knockout Ties That Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea & Arsenal Could Face

Premier League heavyweights Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal await Friday's Champions League last 16 draw with bated breath.

All four English teams advanced from the group stage and will face European opposition in the first knockout phase. United and Chelsea are among the seeds after winning their respective pools, so they will avoid holders Bayern Munich, last season's beaten finalists Borussia Dortmund and the big three Spanish sides.

The Gunners and City could draw Barcelona, the Madrid clubs, PSG or the Bundesliga giants as they were runners-up. Other teams from Germany, Greece, Italy, Russia and Turkey complete the 16 sides still in Europe's elite competition.

Clubs from the same country cannot face one another in the first knockout round. The ties will be played over two legs on the following dates: 18, 19, 25, 26 February and 11, 12, 18, 19 March.

Everyone wants an easy draw, if such a thing exists in Europe. Fate may not be so kind in reality, however.
