4. Avram Grant
Still friends with Abramovich despite his rather uncalled for sacking (sensing a trend?), the Israeli endured a torrid time in England after; having suffered back-to-back relegations with Portsmouth and West Ham. His time at Chelsea is not easily overlooked though with a 67% win percentage, a Champions League final and narrowly missing out on the Premiership to Manchester United. His appointment would likely be akin to Guus Hiddinks 2 seasons ago and serve only as a stop-gap until the summer when, Chelsea hope, Guardiola becomes available. He resigned as manager of Partizan Belgrade back in May after guiding the club to its 5th successive league title and would be a cheap, if uninspired, option.
