Chelsea Transfers: 10 Players Screwed By Blues' Ludicrous Transfer Policies
5. Christian Atsu
Chelsea signed Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu in the dying stages of last summer's transfer window for a fee in the region of £3.5 million, though they sent the former Porto man out on loan straight away to Vitesse. Having spent the season with Chelsea's Dutch feeder club, Atsu is now a member of the Chelsea squad. However, rumours are rife that he will again be on his way out of Stamford Bridge, with the likes of Everton said to be taking a keen interest. Any potential move from the Toffees will however depend on how they fare with their attempts to sign Romelu Lukaku, another youngster at risk of being sold by the Blues after failing to make his way into the first team. Chelsea's willingness to pick up another player they were likely never going to give a fully fledged chance to just highlights the fact that some new laws need to be drifted in to the transfer market. The 'Ghanaian Messi' was playing in the Champions League not too long ago!
