Fans of just about any team in the world would welcome Marco Reus to their club with open arms. The 25-year-old Borussia Dortmund winger is approaching the peak of his career and with his side flailing in 17th position, few could blame him for entertaining the idea of trading the Bundesliga for the Premier League. Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea have all been heavily linked with the German since his rise to prominence in recent years, and the Blues are said to be leading the chase. Although Reus will be available for as little as £20million next summer due to a buy-out clause in his contract, but it seems none of his potential suitors are willing to wait around until then. Reports suggest Chelsea are prepared to offer Andre Schurrle in a straight swap for Reus this January, but that kind of deal is unlikely to fix the Blues' problems. Both players are very similar: blindingly quick, full of running and capable of finding the net. So, what does Mourinho have to gain by shipping out a promising German winger for a similar replacement with a slightly better goalscoring record? If a swap deal isn't deemed suitable by both parties this January, the most likely scenario is Mourinho will have to fork out £25million and convince Reus to join him at the Bridge over his Premier League counterparts. Given the Blues' current financial and competitive standing compared to the rest of the big five clubs, it's unlikely Reus would agree to move anywhere else. Probability: 6.5/10 What do you think should be Chelsea's transfer priorities this January? Does Mourinho even need to change his squad at all?
