Manchester United fans continue to wonder how Gerard Pique slipped through the net at Old Trafford to become one of the best defenders in the world at his boyhood club, Barcelona. His recent form has seen him slip out of favour under Luis Enrique, leading to rampant speculation a fairytale return to the Red Devils could be on the cards. However, reports indicate Pique would prefer moving to Chelsea to join up with Jose Mourinho, a man who spent three years trying to find a way past the Spanish defender while coaching Real Madrid. The Portuguese is said to have offered the Nou Camp outfit roughly £25million to secure the services of the powerful centre-half, but no follow up reports have confirmed the La Liga club's decision to act on the Blues' interest. Chelsea will have to spend big to find a suitable replacement for John Terry when the effects of time eventually force him out of the game. Although Pique would be an able successor, he bleeds Barcelona and the club would demand serious cash to even consider letting him go. Probability: 5/10
