Chelsea Transfers: 5 Questions That Mourinho Must Address This Summer

2. Does Thibaut Courtois Have A Future At Stamford Bridge?

Thibaut Courtois is regarded widely as one of the best young goal keeping talents in the footballing world right now, and the young Belgian is currently a Chelsea player, though he is into his third season on-loan at Spanish side Atletico Madrid. Courtois has gone on to establish himself as Diego Simeone's number one and there has been much discussion and debate about whether he will return to Chelsea. With Petr Cech still going strong ahead of him in the pecking order, Courtois is unlikely to break into the Chelsea starting eleven should he return once his loan period is over. However, despite this, reports have suggested that Mourinho will not allow the towering Belgian stopper to return to Spain for a fourth time. There is no doubting that he has an incredible talent, talent that Chelsea will be hoping to keep hold of ready for when Petr Cech decides to hang up his gloves. With Atletico wanting to keep hold of Courtois, the player himself would be happy to remain in the Spanish capital where he has become accustomed to a starting spot. With this in mind, should Mourinho fail to give him the opportunity to rival Cech for the starting spot at Chelsea, then Courtois could well be used as part of deal for Diego Costa.
