2. Ezequiel Garay
The Benfica centre-back is wanted by
both Chelsea and Manchester United this summer, with the two English heavyweights set to lock horns over the Argentina international. If the Blues are to replace Luiz, they could be swapping one South American for another by following through with their interest in Garay by making a bid. Both Chelsea, and Mourinho, are familiar with the 26-year-old. Garay spent a season playing under the management of The Special One during his ill-fated stay at Real Madrid, and it was the Portuguese boss who ultimately oversaw his sale to Benfica in 2011. The defender also played against Chelsea in the Europa League Final earlier this year, which the Blues won. And the Londoners could be about to about to be getting reacquainted with Garay again should they find themselves in the market for a new centre-back.
