1. Marouane Fellaini
The Belgian may have only signed a five-year contract extension at Goodison Park in 2011, seemingly tying him down to the Toffees for the long-term, but the deal he signed wasn't as cut and dry as you might have expected. In January,
it was reported that a £22 million buy-out-clause was inserted into the contract, thus triggering interest from the likes of Chelsea, who have long been admirers of the powerful midfielder, and it's easy to see why. With his towering height and imposing strength, Fellaini could help the Blues' midfield dominate opposition much in the same way Lampard did, and to an extent continues to do so. Chelsea are believed to be ready to offer a five-year deal with wages of £4.5 million, according to the
Daily Star, as the Blues ramp up their efforts to land the Everton star. Apparently unperturbed by the recent dip in form that has seen him score just once in his last six games, Chelsea are now ready to test Everton's resolve with a summer bid. That would set up the mouth-watering possibility of him linking up with fellow Belgian Eden Hazard at the Bridge, a prospect that must surely excite all Chelsea fans.
