2. Karim Benzema

Chelsea have a severe problem in the striker department this season. None of their forwards have found the back of the net in seven games of Premier League football, with the Blues' nine goals so far mostly coming from midfielder Oscar (3). Meanwhile, Frank Lampard, Eden Hazard, Branislav Ivanovic, John Obi Mikel, John Terry and Willian have all chipped in with a goal apiece. With the likes of Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and Samuel Eto'o misfiring thus far, a new striker (or two) wouldn't go amiss in January. One option is Karim Benzema, who
could be on his way out at Real Madrid after having his attitude called into question by manager Carlo Ancelotti. Mourinho is familiar with the France international having worked with him at the Bernabeu during his tenure as manager of Los Blancos between 2010-13. And, having seen the striker net 20 goals and provide the same number of assists in 50 overall appearances last season, the "Special One" may have something to think about.
