Benteke scored 19 Premier League goals last season and took the topflight by storm in his debut campaign in England, but has hit a bit of a blip of late with wavering form and frustrating injuries. Villa were demanding £25 million last July when it looked like Benteke might quit but now he has signed a new contract, his market value is expected to be much higher. Still, Chelsea now have the funds to make a move happen.
