1. Radamel Falcao
I conclude on an obvious choice, as
he has been linked with Chelsea for a long time. Falcao is quite similar in style to Lukaku, in that he is strong, talented, and a physical presence, which would benefit Chelsea's style of play as it was made them so successful when Didier Drogba was leading the line. Falcao destroyed Chelsea earlier this season with a tremendous hat-trick in the UEFA Super Cup Final, which Athletico of course won, suggesting that he has it in him to handle the physicality of the English league. It seemed a January move was nailed on for the Colombian, but he insisted he would stay in Madrid until the end of the season, as reported in
the MailOnline. He is making all the right noises that a move is on his agenda, but it remains to be seen whether he will come to England or end up staying in Madrid with Real, or heading to rich Paris St Germain. But given the man's tremendous goal scoring record in the last couple of seasons, Chelsea would be mad not to go for him, as he could be the man to fire the Blues back to glory. And if he does arrive in West London, the Premier League ought to be very afraid of coming up against Falcao.
