5. Keep Eto'o Up Front
The Cameroon international came in as a replacement in midweek for the injured Torres, which probably means Mourinho was not going to make the change until he had to. Granted Torres has been in much better form since the arrival of the former Porto boss, but he's still not doing well enough for Eto'o not to be given a chance. The former Anzhi Makhachkala striker will probably start on Saturday anyway, with Mou favouring the 32-year-old over Demba Ba, who has only featured twice in the league this season. In any case, Eto'o should be given more chances even when Torres returns, and show that he still has what it takes to cut it at the top level. Two goals against Schalke will certainly have helped make his case to Mourinho, and he will be looking to add to his one and only goal so far in the Premier League this season.
