Club-by-Club Premier League Record Appearance Makers

8. QPR - Andy Impey (142)

Despite the rapid turnover of players at Queens Park Rangers in the modern age (yes, Christopher Samba, we're looking at you), there was once a time, believe it or not, where players actually stuck around for more than a season. Andy Impey for example spent four years at Rangers between 1992-96 and played in all of the London side's first four campaigns in England's topflight, making 142 Premier League appearances. Most fans have probably forgotten the name 'Impey' but QPR supporters never will.

7. Southampton - Matt Le Tissier (252)

Here's one for the pub quiz whizzes. Who was the first midfielder to score 100 goals in the Premier League? The answer - Matt Le Tissier. The Englishman achieved that record during his playing days with Southampton and made 252 appearances in England's topflight with the south coast club, before going on to spend low-key spells at Eastleigh and Guernsey, ending his illustrious playing career at the latter as recently as last year, despite the fact he is rocking the age of 45.
