Club-by-Club Premier League Record Appearance Makers

6. Stoke City - Ryan Shawcross (204)

He may never have achieved his dream of becoming a Manchester United hero, but Ryan Shawcross is at least Stoke City's all-time record appearance maker in the Premier League having made 204 outings for the Potters since leaving Old Trafford behind in 2008. He spent the 2007-08 campaign on loan at the Britannia and helped them attain promotion into England's topflight that term before making his stay permanent. And his efforts in helping the side clamber out of the Championship saw him named club captain recently.

5. Sunderland - Phil Bardsley (174)

Phil Bardsley left Sunderland this summer, but still managed to squeeze in a cheeky record before jumping ship and joining Stoke. He overtook Michael Gray as the Black Cat's all-time record appearance maker in the Premier League by making his 174th outing in the red-and-white jersey last season, but will now be wearing the red and white of the Potters, instead.
