College Football: 7 Teams Who Will Experience A Drop In 2014

6. Fresno State Bulldogs (11-2, 7-1 MWC)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PT7PlzPz-M Fresno State was one game away from being BCS Busters in 2013, rolling to a 10-0 start and a top 15 ranking, but a shootout loss to San Jose State crashed all those dreams. It'll be very difficult for the Bulldogs to replicate their success this season with record-setting QB Derek Carr, and his #1 target Devante Adams leaving for the NFL. The Mountain West Conference's best defense last season will still be one of the best in the conference, but the offense will experience some growing pains throughout the season. The Bulldogs non-conference slate will be a tough way to start the 2014 season, with visits to USC and Utah, and hosting Nebraska at home. Conference games will be tougher as well for Fresno, with a much improved MWC schedule this year. If the Bulldogs can get past San Diego State and Nevada, they could play for another Conference Championship. Projected 2014 Record: (7-5, 5-3 MWC)
