1. Northern Illinois Huskies (12-2, 8-0 MAC)

After an Orange Bowl berth in 2012, Northern Illinois seemed to be headed back again after posted another undefeated regular season, but were upset by Bowling Green in the MAC Championship. Now without QB Jordan Lynch in 2014, the Huskies offensive power is in question this season. Their conference schedule could be very interesting if Bowling Green is on the slate, but their non-conference games are just as intriguing. The Huskies pay visits to Northwestern, Arkansas, and UNLV to start the year. Projected 2014 Record: N/A
