Crystal Palace New Manager: 5 Candidates To Replace Ian Holloway

4. Neil Warnock

The former Crystal Palace boss is one of the early favourites for the position, according to bookmakers Sky Bet. Warnock spent three years in charge of the Eagles between 2007-10, and is credited with helping the side avoid relegation in his first year in charge and turning the side into promotion contenders. Palace made the Play-Offs in Warnock's first year in charge but were defeated by Bristol City, before the club fell on hard times, entered administration and were docked 10 points, leading to the 64-year-old's departure. Warnock later joined Queens Park Rangers and got the Londoners promoted to the Premier League for the first time in 15 years, and as impressive as that feat was, it's his ability to help a club avoid relegation that makes him stand out. He kept both Palace and QPR in the Championship during difficult times, and, having left his position at Leeds United earlier this year, is a free agent. Warnock knows the inner-workings of the club and could be a good shout.
