England's Best Ever Ashes Players

2. Andrew Flintoff

Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff played 79 test matches for England during an injury prone career. He averaged 31.77 with the bat and 32.78 with the ball. He was an incredible all-rounder in the mould of Ian Botham and instrumental in England's home Ashes wins in 2005 and 2009. The stats may not seem impressive to future generations, or people who do not follow cricket, but nevertheless Flintoff was definitely a man for the big occasions and could always be relied upon to provide a spark when needed! A big name on and off the field, Flintoff had a great impact on English cricket and will forever be missed!
