Everton have signed Arouna Koné this summer but could also benefit from adding more of a goal-scoring threat to their midfield. And one option there is Manchester City's out-of-favour Scott Sinclair. The winger left Martinez' former club Swansea for City last summer but soon found that he was deemed surplus to requirements, making just 11 league appearances with the likes of David Silva, James Milner and Samir Nasri ahead of him in the pecking order. And competition for places is set to become even fiercer at the Etihad this season now that Jesus Navas has signed up, meaning it could be in Sinclair's best interests to move. Everton could use some more width this season while Sinclair carries a goalscoring threat having netted 28 times in 82 appearances for Swansea, form which would lend Everton more cutting edge going forward.
