Everton Transfer News: Roberto Martinez Insists No Bids For Fellaini

fellaini Amid a great deal of speculation, Everton manager Roberto Martinez has confirmed that the club has received no bids for midfielder Marouane Fellaini, according to Sky Sports. Martinez reportedly said;
'There are no bids. When you read that someone is interested in someone, it doesn't mean there is a bid on the table. Marouane has been working really hard. Leighton Baines has been working really hard for the team and that's all that matters. Headlines in the media happen at this time of the season unfortunately but it won't distract me from the work we have to do. I'm not bothered at all. It is speculation in the media and you'll never stop that. I've said from day one as a manager you only concentrate on working hard. I don't mind having my players grabbing headlines. That's a good story because it means they've been doing well and performing well.'
Reports on Wednesday had suggested that Manchester United manager David Moyes was preparing to return to his former club with an offer for the Belgian. Fellaini played in Everton's defeat to Valencia last night as part of the club's tour of the United States. Rumours surrounding Fellaini appear to have been further fueled by the inclusion of 'Red Devils' on his Twitter bio. The Twitter frenzy appears to be unnecessary, however, as Fellaini's reference to the 'Red Devils' is linked to the nickname of the Belgian international team rather than the Premier League holders, and has been present since he joined the social networking site. Sources close to Manchester United suggest that Moyes has not given up on Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas and will continue his pursuit of the 26-year old before considering a move for Fellaini. However, it has been confirmed that Barcelona have not received a third offer for the Spain international. Moyes continues to remain confident about adding to his new side.
'I do think we'll be bringing players in before the window shuts. They will come. We're moving along but if you said, 'Is anything close?', I couldn't give you an answer.'
