Fantasy Football Tips: 4 Reasons To Get Rid Of (Almost) Every Man Utd Player

4. Inconsistent Results

It's hard being a Manchester United fan isn't it? In January, they lost to Sunderland on aggregate and crashed out of the League Cup. but followed up with a victory, albeit an unconvincing one, against strugglers Cardiff City, whose owner, Vincent Tan, allegedly "wanted to know why the goalkeeper wasn't scoring any goals". Yea, you don't have to thank me for making your day. Four days after the much-needed victory, the Red Devils screwed up at Stoke City, crumbling to a 2-1 defeat. Their next two fixtures saw them nick two draws against Fulham and Arsenal, which saw their fans celebrating like they've won the UEFA Champions League. At that point of time, I thought it was over for United. Against a Crystal Palace side whose midfield had been given a new lease of life under recently-appointed manager Tony Pulis, I fancied them to lose by a narrow margin. Turns out, they churned out a hard-fought 2-0 victory at Selhurst Park. Olympiakos pretty much humiliated Manchester United in the Champions League a few days later, with the 2-0 scoreline flattering the men in red. What seemed like a routine spiraling downfall sprung out a few surprises, with them winning 3-0 at West Bromwich Albion, and lost to Liverpool with the exact score. Why is it a surprise? Well, they only lost by three goals. That's kinda a big deal. Then in yesterday's night kick-off, United came out of nowhere and miraculously overturned the 2-0 defecit in their 2nd leg against Olympiakos at Old Trafford, courtesy of a Robin van Persie hat-trick. You guys are making my work really hard. This article had to be changed three times because of your inconsistent performances, both individually and as a team. Urgh.
