1. Luis Suarez
Team: Liverpool Value: £13.2 million Points In GW19: 5 Despite scoring 18 league goals since returning from a 10-match biting ban, Luis Suarez has come in for critics, for only scoring against 'little sides'. His strikes since returning from suspension have come against rock bottom Sunderland, strugglers Crystal Palace, West Brom, Fulham, Norwich and Cardiff and, excepting Everton and Spurs, has failed to score against any of the 'bigger sides' - he fired blanks against Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea. But the Uruguayan can only score against what's put in front of him and though his record in the big games is dubious, he's still a world class striker and I think he will quieten his critics on New Year's Day against Hull at Anfield. Hull beat the Reds 3-1 in their last outing earlier this year but I really can't see a similar scoreline with Liverpool looking to bounce back from two consecutive 2-1 defeats to top four rivals Man City and Chelsea. Suarez is always a danger for as long as he's on the pitch and can pop up with a goal at any time, which makes him so dangerous, and I'm backing him to get a few against the Tigers, who put six past Fulham last time out but will come unstuck here.
