Pretty good results from the players who didn't play well in the first part of Gameweek 31, Gerrard and Coleman especially.
My overall points (I started only from GW5), stands at 1,650.
It's just
so, so convenient that Jay Rodriguez and Koscielny are down with injuries. A lot of unnecessarily expensive purchases have to be made this week as a result. At the front, Lukaku and Shola Ameobi replaces Rodriguez and Carlton Cole. No one in the £7m range have any form that's even close with Rodriguez. Hence, the in-form but inconsistent Lukaku is the only realistic option left for me. The midfield remains the same. I was very tempted to sell Kevin Nolan to free up some funds for Daniel Sturridge, but in the long-term, it doesn't make much sense as I believe Nolan would become hot again. Besides, having SAS in your team is not a really smart move anymore because since their points difference are huge, with Suárez usually being the one with the higher score, it's redundant to splurge upwards of £10m for such a small change. Coleman, Branislav Ivanovi and the on-song Demichelis joins goalkeeper Mannone in the defense department. Overall, I'm expecting a 83 point performance, 22 in defense, 30 in midfield and 31 in attack.
