Fantasy Premier League Tips 2014: 15 Best Point-Per-Pound Buys

1. Yaya Sanogo (Arsenal) £5m

Last Season's Points Total: 8. Given his poor points tally last season, Yaya Sanogo may seem like a weird inclusion in this list, but it looks like he's going to be getting a lot more first team action this season and, for just £5 million, can you really afford not to include a striker playing for a top four team? Sanogo has suffered a number of injuries over the past few seasons, but he is now fully fit and that can only be good for him. Arsene Wenger has shown faith in him - playing him ahead of Olivier Giroud in big games against Liverpool and Bayern Munich last season - and that generally means a player at least has a lot of potential. He's only 21, but this could be his breakthrough season. He managed a four-goal haul against Benfica in the Emirates Cup in pre-season and started in the Community Shield victory over Manchester City. If he gets a good run in the first team in the Premier League this season, £5 million could be a ludicrous steal. So there you have it - the fifteen best point-per-pound buys for the 2014-15 Premier League fantasy league season. Did you enjoy this article?
