Frank De Boer Doesn't Want To Be Liverpool Manager

Ajax manager Frank de Boer has insisted he wants to stay in Amsterdam, ruling out any chance of him becoming the next Liverpool boss.

"I am honoured by the request, but I am only just getting started with Ajax," De Boer told De Telegraaf. "In Amsterdam we are on a new path and, along with the club and Wim Jonk and Dennis Bergkamp, my colleagues in the technical heart, I want to bring good things. "That's why I will stay loyal to Ajax in the coming years."
De Boer's snubbing of the Liverpool vacancy comes just days after Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers turned down the approach to speak to the Liverpool's US owners last week. The favourite candidates for the Liverpool job still include Wigan boss Roberto Martinez, outed former Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas and former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez.
