A deal widely expected to be completed today is the arrival of Greek striker Kostas Mitroglou, as a fee has already been agreed. The price is in the region of £12.5million but a potential stumbling block is West Ham United, who have tabled a bid of their own to rival their Premier League rivals. A price battle could develop but the player is still widely tipped to join Fulham, which would allow Berbatov to seal his move to France. The deal is extremely close to being completed and is expected to be announced way before the 11pm deadline.
