How A World Football XI Might Look In 5 Years Time

Right Forward - GARETH BALE

Bale seems to have been around for such a long time- he did make his Southampton debut at 16, to be fair- and it's frightening to think he is still just 25 years of age. He is a phenomenal footballer, and one you feel is just starting to take the footballing world by storm. The Welshman was exceptional at Tottenham, but ever since moving to Real Madrid in 2013, his game has gone up a notch. The fact that he is now playing in a team full of players on his wavelength is a big reason for that. Bale will learn a huge amount from playing alongside Ronaldo- he clearly idolises him an almost cringeworthy amount- and he has the same tall stature, powerful running style and eye for goal as the Portuguese superstar. If anything, the 25-year-old is a little underrated at the moment; he is easily in the top 10 players in the world. He will be 30 in 2019, which Ronaldo is about to turn, and although he will probably never reach the incredible heights his teammate has, he has everything in his locker to be the most fearsome attacking player in the world one day.
