How A World Football XI Might Look In 5 Years Time

Left Forward - Eden Hazard

For a while during his early days at Chelsea, there were some who wondered whether Hazard, for all his undoubted talent, was too inconsistent and unpredictable to ever become a world-class player. That has been well and truly put to bed of late though, and over the last 12 months the Belgian has been sensational. The 23-year-old is unplayable at the moment, running at frightening pace, ghosting past tackles and showing an ability to both cut inside or hit the byline. His balance is second to none, and he appears to be getting better and better by the game. As a youngster he was touted as a future World Player of the Year, and you wouldn't bet against it now. At 23 he is still very young, and when you consider the improvements someone like Ronaldo has made since that age, it's feasible to say Hazard could do the same. He is that good. He will be 28 in five years, right in his prime, and as long as he stays focused and keeps improving, he may well be the finest wide player on the planet.
