3. Winning The 2006 FA Cup
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsApNfJ06eI Again, Carra had to pick himself up before reaping the rewards of victory in this game against West Ham United back in 2006. Carragher was again at fault for the opening goal as he ballooned a right wing cross into his own net before Liverpool went 2-0 down thanks to a Pepe Reina fumble. Liverpool levelled through a spectacular Djibril Cisse volley before Gerrard fired in an equaliser from a Peter Crouch knock down. Liverpool fell behind again thanks to Paul Konchesky's utterly awful cross-cum-goal. Gerrard again saved the day with an astounding 35 yard half volley. This wasn't Carragher's finest performance but it was his second major trophy in two years under new manager Rafael Benitez. Despite this crazy final, the 05-06 season was one of Jamie's finest in a Liverpool shirt as Liverpool finished third, just behind Manchester United. Keeping a club record amount of successive clean sheets (11) along the way. The winning of the FA Cup was the perfect tonic to Jamie's immense season.
