LA Lakers: 4 Key Players In Their Playoff Hopes

1. Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant Attempting to write about Kobe Bryant is difficult as it is, but attempting to do justice when writing about the Black Mamba in his current vain of form is close to impossible. His effect on this team in the past few weeks is nothing short of incredible. It seems Kobe has made it his personal mission to grab the Lakers€™ season by the scruff of the neck and drag them to the Playoffs. His form has seen him scoring 30 points or over on a consistent basis (as well as his season average being in the high twenties), assisting on a regular basis and not to mention showing his trademark clutch, no more evident than Tuesday night€™s games against the Raptors. The Lakers€™ hopes of qualifying will rest almost entirely, as usual, on the shoulders of number €˜24€™ and how long he can maintain his current form, as he continues to battle against father time. If Kobe leads the offense, and Dwight leads the defence, then the Heat will be anxiously looking over their shoulder at the motivated Mamba chasing down his 6th ring, which would tie him with all-time great Michael Jordan.
