4. Marco Reus - Left-Wing

Like Benatia, Liverpool signing Reus is more of a pipe dream than a reality, but if the club managed to sign the Borussia Dortmund superstar it would be an unbelievable statement of intent. Many fans are calling for a huge signing to come in to make up for the loss of Suarez, and although Reus is a wide man rather than a striker, the quality he would bring to the squad would make them genuine title challengers in 2014/15. The 25-year-old cruelly missed the 2014 World Cup through injury, and it's amazing to think that, for all the individual brilliance the new world champions have at their disposal, Reus is probably the best of the lot. How good would they have been had he been fit? The Dortmund man guarantees goals from wide areas- he has scored 42 goals in 90 appearances for Jurgen Klopp's side- and his ability to drift inside from the left, link up with his teammates and create havoc are truly world-class. With him occupying a left sided role and next man on the team-sheet on the right, not many full-backs would be able to handle them.
