Liverpool Dream XI To Win The Premier League 2014/15
3. Raheem Sterling - Right-Wing
If Coutinho was the star of pre-season, Sterling was a close second. The 19-year-old has almost a telepathic understanding with his Brazilian teammate at times, boding well for the season ahead, and he is simply unplayable when in full flow. There is arguably not a more exciting teenage football in the world, and he can achieve anything he wants to such is his talent. Having lost form at the start of last season, there were some who started to wonder whether Sterling would fulfil his huge potential, but the way he responded from Christmas onwards was astonishing. He was one of the best players in the Premier League between January and May, and actually performed even better than Suarez did during that period. He has the blistering pace and trickery to be a lethal weapon out wide, but is also creative and technical enough to thrive in a 'number 10' role too. With Coutinho there already, however, Sterling will start on the right, and it will be fascinating to see how City cope with him. The future is very bright for the speedy winger.
