Probably the most ambitious target on this list, Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen could prove to be the signing that turns Liverpool into a top 4 team once more. The Dane has been in outstanding form this season, scoring 10 goals while also managing 17 assists. He is expected to move on in the Summer though, having refused to commit his future to the club. Ajax are believed to be
willing to let him go this Summer, as his contract expires in 2014. Ajax have claimed that scouts form Liverpool have been to watch Eriksen on numerous occasions. The signing of Eriksen would be a major showing of intent from the Liverpool owners. He is valued at around £14 million by Ajax who have had to cut his price to avoid losing him for free next Summer. If Liverpool could match this price then a move for the highly rated Dane could be on.
