2. Romelu Lukaku
Another one of Chelsea's bright young stars, the exciting 20-year-old Belgian striker had an incredible season on loan to West Bromwich Albion last season,
netting 17 league strikes in 35 appearances for the Baggies. With such a prolific strike-rate so young, it's difficult to see Chelsea letting go of their youthful star. However, he's unlikely to want to spend much time on the bench, and with Torres, Demba Ba, and possibly Wayne Rooney going to be in front of him for a starting spot at Chelsea, it's very likely Lukaku's opportunities will be limited this season at Stamford Bridge. A move to Liverpool would see Lukaku link up with former club-mate Daniel Sturridge, and the possibilities for such a combination are mouth-watering from a Liverpool point of view. That said, Chelsea are unlikely to sell, and especially not likely to sell to Liverpool, given they've done that recently, and given that they'll be in direct competition for Champions League positions this coming year. The possibility of Lukaku going on loan has also been
ruled out by the player, so Rodgers will have a tough time attaining the services of this promising youngter.
