One of the most peculiar signings in Liverpool€™s recent history, Balotelli proved to be an all-too expensive gamble, managing only one league goal for The Reds in a campaign which seemed doomed from the outset.

Despite a handful of promising performances in January, Balotelli looks set to end the season with more yellow cards (7) than goals (4).

Balotelli, due to his undoubted potential, will have no difficulties finding another club, most likely back in his native Italy.
