Liverpool Transfers: 4 Newcastle Players Rodgers Should Poach This Summer

1. Rolando Aarons

With Raheem Sterling edging ever closer to a move to Manchester City, Liverpool will be eager to replace him with a winger of the same ilk, and they won't find anyone more like for like than soon-to-be free agent, Rolando Aarons.

Capturing 19-year old Aarons on a free transfer would represent an intelligent piece of business by Liverpool, as it would enable the funds generated by a possible Sterling sale to be re-invested on a world class striker.

The Kingston-born forward's season has been blighted by injury, but when selected, Aarons has performed admirably, exciting the Geordie faithful and scoring a brilliant goal away at Manchester City in the League Cup.

The England Under-20 international has only made four appearances this campaign, scoring a solitary goal, but his mesmeric performances in these outings have demonstrated his ability and Liverpool would be foolish not to take their chance.
