Liverpool Transfers: 4 Players Rodgers Could Sign With Luis Suarez Proceeds

3. Loic Remy

Remy If Suarez does leave, Brendan Rodgers might be interested in renewing his interest in QPR's cut-price striker Loic Remy. The France international only joined Harry Redknapp's side in the January transfer window after completing an £8 million switch from Marseille, but following the Hoop's relegation to the Championship in May, isn't likely to stay. The 26-year-old impressed during his debut season in England, scoring six goals in 14 overall appearances for the Londoners, and those performances put him on the radars of Tottenham and Arsenal. But Liverpool are interested as well, especially given the striker is likely to be made available for significantly lower than the fee Rangers paid Marseille for his services 7 months ago. Remy could be allowed to leave for as little as £5 million, as per the stipulations stated in his so called "relegation release clause" at the club, which makes him a highly attractive option. The former Lens star has proven he is capable of acclimatising to English football and is also ridiculously affordable. Value: £5 million
