Liverpool Transfers: 4 Players Rodgers Could Sign With Luis Suarez Proceeds

2. Christian Eriksen

Having missed out on Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who snubbed the Reds in favour of a move to Borussia Dortmund, Brendan Rodgers is desperate to add to his attacking options at Liverpool this summer. The Northern Irishman could then turn to yet another Ajax star - Christian Eriksen. The Denmark international has been one of European football's outstanding youngsters in the last couple of years and, with just a year of his current contract left to run, is one of the hottest properties on this summer's transfer market. Eriksen has achieved virtually everything there is to achieve in Holland, having won three consecutive Eredivisie titles as well as the KNVB Cup, and could be set for a fresh challenge following five successful seasons in the Netherlands. Liverpool are on his trail and the midfielder has even been heralded as the long-term successor to club legend Steven Gerrard. Eriksen scored 10 goals from 30 domestic appearances last season. Value: £15 million
